Meet Our Team
Education Solutions & Consulting Group (ESCG LLC) is led by an experienced educational administrator with extensive knowledge of U.S. public school systems, workforce development, and career and technical education. We specialize in international teacher recruitment and educational consulting services, partnering with school districts to address staffing needs and enhance instructional effectiveness.
Our Founder and CEO
Mr. Larry W. Marks, Ed.S., is a retired educator with over 40 years of experience in public and private education across Virginia. He has served in numerous leadership and instructional roles, including teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, and principal at both middle and high school levels.
He holds an Education Specialist degree in BrainSMART Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, along with advanced and undergraduate degrees from Virginia State University and Virginia State College.
Since retiring in 2015, Mr. Marks has continued to support schools as an interim principal and educational consultant. He is deeply committed to student success and postsecondary readiness, whether through college, technical training, or career pathways.
As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Education Solutions and Consulting Group, LLC (ESCG), Mr. Marks partners with J-1 Visa program sponsors to recruit highly qualified international teachers, helping school districts address teacher shortages and increase educator diversity.
Our International Recruiter
Ms. Florence Khumalo is an experienced education and workforce development professional with over 20 years of expertise in training, human resources, and skills development. She has served as an ABET facilitator, skills development facilitator, and education training and development officer, leading impactful training and professional development initiatives.
Following her corporate career, Ms. Khumalo transitioned into international education recruitment, where she supports qualified teachers in securing opportunities abroad. She currently serves as an International Teacher Recruiter with Education Solutions & Consulting Group LLC (ESCG), connecting experienced educators with global teaching opportunities.
Our COO
Ms. Darlene Pantaleo brings over 30 years of extensive experience in education, with a strong academic foundation in psychology, criminal justice, and teaching. Throughout her distinguished career, she has demonstrated a commitment to student success, instructional excellence, and program development.
Ms. Pantaleo has served in a variety of leadership and collaborative roles, including serving on numerous committees, leading educational boards, and directing multiple academic and support programs. Her work has consistently focused on improving student outcomes, supporting diverse learners, and fostering inclusive learning environments.
Most recently, she served as an ESL math teacher at the middle school level, where she specialized in supporting English language learners by integrating language development with mathematics instruction. Her ability to adapt curriculum and provide targeted support helped students build both academic confidence and achievement.
She now brings her depth of experience and passion for education to ESCG, where she continues to support educators and help expand high-quality educational opportunities.
